Little Sophie Dress

Our sweet little baby Norah! She is just so precious. Such a happy and content little one. While I visited I was able to sit and hold her for hours upon hours. When I left she was becoming so aware already and had started holding her head up and looking around. Of course she does have a big brother to watch and learn from who just adores her!
Besides holding her and just watching her grow I also was able to see her wear a cute little outfit I made her before she was born. I enjoyed sewing for my children when they were growing up. Now I have more babies to sew for. I  have also made, her cousin, Chloe a skirt and a few  t-shirts with appliques for her to wear. I look forward to making more of the patterns I have already purchased. This cute little knot dress is a pattern designed by Pitter Patterns. They have some really cute patterns. The little ruffle pants are a pattern from the pattern Britches and Bloomers. I also have a couple of patterns designed by Sandi Henderson I am excited to use.
Jennie chose the fabric for this outfit and I think her choices were perfect, it is Sophie by Chez Moi for Moda. Doesn’t she look so cute in this little dress! It looks like she is posing for the picture. I made two pair of pants for this outfit, the other pair are pink like the apron. She can wear either pair of pants with the dress or just wear the pants with a little t-shirt.  There are so many options when making this pattern.
This is truly a sweet picture of Norah. How wonderful it was for me to be there and spend so much time with my beautiful daughter, her husband and of course Silas. It was so hard to leave but I look forward to going back again! They will be especially busy each Winter, celebrating Norah’s birth, Christmas and then Silas’ birthday all in a row.  Fun, fun, fun!
Thank you so much for reading our blog and all your encouragement, we really appreciate it. I love reading your comments, it is one of my favorite things to do.

  1. I loved making clothes for my girls. It seamed they were so much more cuddlier with homemade clothes. I love this outfit and you’re right, the fabric and colors are perfect for such a darling little one. I’m looking forward to grand-babies!
