As you know, I’ve gotten a bit behind on my stitching, but I’m slowly catching up. So, I thought I’d show my progress. I’ll admit I was initially going to show two blocks at a time…but I haven’t finished a second one, so, instead, here is block nine:
I used yellow chain stitch for the string part, and while I regretted it while stitching, I actually think it looks fine in photographs, so that makes me feel better! I am trying to even out my color usage before I run out of blue and purple. Now that block twelve is released, I’m really looking forward to seeing quilts come together!

This is my favourite block, Jennie…I keep coming back to it because I want time to stitch it!

Another stitch along would be great! I have two that I am working on now (because doing a stitching quilt was on my quilting bucket list for the year), however, I would add one more to do. I really enjoy the hand work.
