This is how you might find me sewing this weekend {and that’s an unedited photo…whew, I’m either feeling brave or exhausted!}. This little girl wants to be right there while I work, just like her brother! And I’m working with these fabrics:
on another Louisa bag. I’ll be posting more details as I have a chance, it’s not a secret project…just an urgent one!
So, if this blog is a little quiet {my mom will still be blogging though!}, you’ll know where I am…sitting at a sewing machine with a baby strapped to me {or something like that!}.
Are you having a relaxing or productive weekend {or maybe both?!}?

A mother-daugher {best friends} team who love to spend our days together {long distance} sewing, quilting, designing, drinking coffee, chatting, and chasing our little ones!
Thank you for visiting with us!

Aww! Too cute and that’s a really smart idea actually.
Little Nora looks pretty content!
Cute pic!
Oh, I remember those days. I used to have my babies in a snuggly while cooking and while doing other things. Didn’t quilt at the time. she loves her mama!
I love this photo of you and your sweetie. It makes me remember all the time I spent with my two babies on my back. I absolutely loved it: I could do anything, take them anywhere and they would be happy! I carried Miss C. this way until she was almost 2 and Master W. until he was just over 1 (he liked to bite my shoulder, so we had to stop early, much to my dismay). I can’t wait to carry my new little sweetie this way not too long from now!
Love the pic! You are really multi-tasking! She is adorable on your back!
so cute (both of you).
I wear Scarlet all the time, and have an ergo, but have yet to use it while sewing… I’ll have to give it a try!
Nora and mummy are so cute…lovely pic!:)
Jennie, that is THE cutest photo!! You should have it framed. Gorgeous.
Hugs

This picture is so sweet. My mother always said when I was little, I used to stand behind her and hang around her neck.. she sewed sitting on a bench, and I could stand on the bench behind her. And after having a kid, I totally know about the hanging part.. amazing how she got anything done! This looks much more effective! What a sweet memory this will be. My own mom remembers it all very fondly.
So darling…I can’t believe your sweetpea is happy sitting there like that. That is the cutest photo ever…you have to do what you have to do. I use to do all my house work with baby attached. xoxoo Can’t wait to see the bag.
I love the photo! That one has to go in her baby book.
Love the fabrics too!~ Louisa is going to be gorgeous!
This post makes me smile. =)
Love this!! So sweet!! xo Heather
So cute! I totally do that with Clara too. She’s a little big for it now, so I put her inn the playpen, but she doesn’t like that very much.
I always wondered how it’s possible for sew-ers to sew and take care of a babe. So this is how it looks. Never tried with my baby though.
