This giveaway is now closed, we appreciate your input!

As I mentioned yesterday, we’ve been super busy, but the blog has been a little quiet. However, as we’re finishing up our projects {which we’ll get to show you in a few days when they’re complete!}, we thought it would be the perfect time to hear from you about what you’d like to see on our blog in the upcoming months: quilts? bags? clothes? Christmas gift ideas?
Because we appreciate your input, we thought we’d have a giveaway at the same time, so we’re giving away a $30 gift certificate to Sew Lux Fabric & Gifts and a pattern from our shop!
To enter just leave us a comment letting us know what you’d like to see in the future. And, if you’ve bought one of our patterns before, leave a second comment for a second entry. The giveaway will remain open for two weeks, closing on October 19 at midnight. We appreciate your thoughts!

A mother-daugher {best friends} team who love to spend our days together {long distance} sewing, quilting, designing, drinking coffee, chatting, and chasing our little ones!

Well, I love your tutorials. I have never bought a pattern…mostly because I have made a ton of bags and tend to be ‘cheap’ when it comes to buying patterns. However, I love your QAL’s…and embroidery tutorials. You really got me onto something…now if I could just get back to it.

I would like to see more in-depth instructions for sewing a zipper pouch. I can’t determine how the zipper should lay when I stitch around the entire bag. I followed your goodie pouch tutorial at The Moda Bake Shop and this is the only step I have difficulty with.
http://www.modabakeshop.com/2012/06/goodie-pouch.html – “Fold the pieces so that the right sides of the pouch are together and the lining is together {as shown above} and stitch 3/8″ around the bag, leaving a 3″ opening along the bottom of the lining {note: make sure the zipper is partially unzipped}”.
Another 101 sewing tutorial idea – how to make your own bias tape.
I like seeing quick projects and zippie pouches! Keep up the good work
Christmas gift ideas would be wonderful!
I would love to see projects that are quicker to complete for around the home. Table runners, placemats, small square quilts for table toppers, anything that we can fit in between those projects that are already crowding our to-do list or the things we already have in process. Sometimes it is nice to step away and get a fix of a smaller project that has caught our eye and then we can get back to our big quilt. I really have been drawn to English Paper Piecing lately, so that I can work it anywhere I go, but I have had enough of Hexagons, I am looking for those other patterns to catch my attention, I just can’t seem to find any… anywhere on the web!!
