I’ve been doing a little stitching this week, it is good to get back to it! I had stashed this Victoria and Albert Museum book print when I found it on sale at a local quilt shop. Now that we’ve been frequenting the library, I thought it would be perfect for a simple book bag, with a little stitching detail. Choosing the threads to match the fabric was fun because they’re not colors I would normally put together.
I really like the stacked book quilt blocks, and the books in the fabric, so I did a little stitchery of them on some Moda Crossweave Natural and now I just need to assemble it into a book bag.
And we’re using the list of everyone’s favorite books to choose books for Silas! So thanks for the tips, we’re really enjoying it!
