I really enjoy making small things using scraps and other projects (you may remember the hexagons with embroideries) I started and had set aside for one reason or another. I truly love Sophie by Chez Moi, so I began a little collection of things after I finished my bag. I have a few ideas that I am having fun making and plan to give as Christmas, Thank You, or Thinking of You gifts!!
The weather has cooled down here so we have been enjoying a walk along the Canal the past couple of days. It has been perfect for walking and reflecting on things!
I also want to thank those who are serving and have served our country, we are very proud of you and appreciate all you do!!
Now to do a little more cleaning up in our yard and plant a tree in the ground before it gets too cold!

A mother-daugher {best friends} team who love to spend our days together {long distance} sewing, quilting, designing, drinking coffee, chatting, and chasing our little ones!
Thank you for visiting with us!

I love those beautiful hexagons! And how wonderful that you’re able to start on some gifts now!
I still have hexie love too. The little scrappy pincushion is cute too.
It’s good to hear from you Clara – we are blessed with a wonderful day today, the weather is truly a gift today. Thank you for sharing you sweet little projects, I enjoy seeing all the different ways you use the beautiful fabrics! xoxo
I have a stack of hexies myself. I am working on Christmas gifts this week. Looking forward to your projects. Smiles Renee
Love the little pincushion, such pretty colourful fabrics! The hexies look great too, especially combined with a little embroidery!
Wishing you a wonderful crafty week!
