Finishing Touches

DSC_0320A little pompom trim and I think it gave them just the right touch. No lining pictures to show you, they were blurry.  These two stockings are almost at their new home ready to be filled with goodies.

DSC_1103Our tree! It does not have its usual ornaments just {some} lights and bulbs. Oh, and there are a few little trains that belong to my son, Brandon, he loves Hallmark ornaments. I think he needs his own miniature tree. They are so tiny, I tried getting a picture but it’s hard to see them even in a close up.

DSC_1124And, our new favorite scented candle, hot apple cider. My daughter, Rachel told me this was her favorite so we picked up a couple from Walmart, and we love them!! We went back and picked up two more. They make our whole house smell wonderful!!

I have been working on a few more Christmas projects, I have decided if they don’t get finished before Christmas that is okay. I have quilts, stockings and a few ornaments in various stages. I packed up and shipped everything at the beginning of the week that I needed to get in the mail and that is what was most important.

DSC_1128Maybe some baking will be done this weekend, maybe!! Although, I wouldn’t really call this baking, just melt stir and spoon onto wax paper, let set up and eat. They are a long time family tradition of my husband’s. His mom made them every Christmas and Easter, so simple and yummy.

Hope you have had a good week and are enjoying this time of the year, I can’t believe it’s Friday already!!
