I mentioned Honey Honey the other day, because it is just too lovely! Well, this month for my curated collection at Sew Lux, I chose a stack of warm Honey Honey fabrics {I generally gravitate towards blues, so I am trying to stretch myself a bit}, and they’re just too pretty! If you haven’t given in and bought any yet, now is a great time, as it is on sale for $18 until February 10th – find it here {and, I’ve been thinking it would be lovely for a Valentine’s gift too!}.
I couldn’t resist cutting into mine already {note: the small squares are charm squares, this will help you get an idea what the scale of the prints is, I hope!}.

The charm pack and blue yardage I had ordered were originally going to be for a lunch bag, but when I received the pretty warm colors of my Curated Collection bundle…I had to use them instead! So, even though I have a hundred other things I need to work on, I had to sew up the outer body!
I’m really excited to revisit the lunch bag design too, because, like almost all of our bags, I’ve been using it for a few months, and have found it a bit lacking in some design elements. The new {free} pattern will be available in the near future, with some upgrades!
Doesn’t this fabric just make you anxious for spring? Living in California has been lovely because it’s like a whole year of spring and fall!

Wow, are you kidding me? I bought this bundle early this morning without knowing who put it together! Can’t wait to get it!!
Yeah, I was in love with that bundle the minute I set eyes on it! I noticed it was from you…great choices!
Just love Honey Honey!! Cute start to your lunch bag, I need one, hint, hint!!
Oh pretty! Love the lunch bag too. I wish it had a bit more a boxy bottom to accommodate square food containers. I may have to make one to carry snacks for my daughter in the car.

i melt when I see that grouping of wonderful art fabric. Funny? Well how about my cat that has always lived in a 20×40 building with window a/c units in my sewing area, we moved into a new mobile home with floor vents and she is scared to death of them and growls at them when the air or heat comes on.
