Baby Bibs and Burp Cloths

DSC_0118This morning I made a couple of baby bibs and burp cloths for some special babies. The fabric I used is Shannon Terry Cuddle along with some Riley Blake fabric pieces that I had on hand. The Shannon company saw that we used it and asked if we would like to make a few things using their fabric. So we said, YES! It is very soft and easy to work with. There really was not very much fuzz from cutting and my sewing machine sewed it very smoothly. I really loved making these.

The tutorial can be downloaded from Shannon Fabrics here!

For the bibs I used Jennie’s Baby Bib tutorial! The burp cloths are approximately  12″ x 17″, with rounded corners. Super simple and I think really cute baby gifts!

DSC_0117I did a little top stitching and quilting on the bibs and burp cloths. The only thing I will still need to do is add the velcro to the bibs. I thought I had some on hand but couldn’t find it, so I will be making a trip to the fabric store!!

We had a yard of each color and since it is 58″/60″ wide, I still have alot left and will be making a couple more projects in the next couple of days!

Enjoy your day!
