The wind was blowing just enough to keep it moving.

I had this laid out on my sewing room floor and was determined not to pick it up and put it away. I knew if I did it may be in a tote for quite a while!! I had to step over it and work around it but it was very motivating to just finish it. Now to quilt, that’s another story for another day!

Now to move on to some other projects waiting to be made.

  1. Clara – this is so pretty and springy! …and we need some spring here in Northern Virginia! I am looking forward to seeing it quilted – I am so timid about trying to quilt large projects on my home machine – I just keep watching hoping I will be like the Lion in the Wizard of Oz and get some courage to try! XOOXOX

  2. It’s lovely! I’m curious about the edges- will you square them off, fill them in or leave them zig-zaggy? Zig-zaggy would be awesome!

  3. Very cute! I’m obsessed with hexagons lately, and this looks much easier than the English paper pieced version I’ve been considering. Can’t wait to see how you finish it!

  4. I am thinking of starting a quilt soon…you always soooo inspire me…and suggestions for a beginner…do you have a good pattern I should use?
Many Easter Blessings to you my friend….xoxo
