Covert Robin Gifts!

I would like to share my Covert Robin gift exchange gifts with you.

These gifts are the beautiful handwork of Karen, she blogs at Sew Well Maide. Karen was very thoughtful and made things she knew I would not and could not make for myself. She sent me a lovely handbag she made along with some bright and cheerful crochet coasters and a very pretty bookmark that was made by her friend. I will cherish her gifts, they came all the way from Australia.

Look at all the work that went into this beautiful handbag!

I have taken a close up picture of the very pretty and detailed flower she added, love it!!

Thank you again Karen! It was fun being a co-host with you in this gift exchange!

Now for the gifts I sent to my partner, Stephanie, who is also a co-host. Stephanie’s blog is The Crafty Kitty. I had this fabric bundle and it caught my eye that it might be the right choice for her. So I made her a little wall quilt/table topper and a pincushion with a needle book for some needles.

I had fun getting to know Stephanie through her blog.

I quilted the quilt with a straight line quilting, I really enjoyed making these gifts for her.

We have a blog post  with a link with some of the gifts that have been exchanged so far,  I just love looking at all the wonderful handmade gifts!

It has been so fun reading emails and being involved with this gift exchange, thank you especially to Rachael of imagine gnats!!

Happy Wednesday, now back to some sewing!

Fabulous gifts, it is always wonderful to have some made especially for you. I love the pincushion and needle book a lot as they are 2 of my favourite things. I have quite a few pincushions but can’t stop making them.

Great to see my handy work – I am so thrilled you loved them Clara. I could be really cheeky and say that I threaded all those sequins on the yarn but that would be a fib!! Luckily you can buy the yarn like that! But the fib would have made me look really, really clever wouldn’t it!?!?!

Cheers all the way from Aussie land,
