the Penelope purse {off to quilt market}

thePenelopepusre

We’re excited to show you the finished version of our Penelope purse that is headed off to quilt market! The purse is made in Mary McGuire’s Grace fabric line for RJR Fabrics, which is bright and whimsical, and you can read more about Mary’s inspiration here {and see her version of our Jane bag made in the blue colorway of Grace}.

It seemed like it was about time we finished one of our bags with a zipper on top.  However, there isn’t any difficult turning required, and it has a great finish.

This is a smaller purse than our usual designs, but it is still has plenty of room and is easy to carry.  The strap length can also be adjusted to fit a variety of sizes and comfort preferences.

We’re also excited that this pattern will be offered as part of a kit by RJR Fabrics.  So, if you’re headed to quilt market next weekend {or know someone from your local quilt shop who is}, stop by the RJR Fabrics at booths 632, 728, 732 to check out the actual purse and maybe order some kits too.

We will update our blog with retailers once the kits are available to the public as well.
