“Quilty Fun” Sewing Progress

| | |

Good Morning! I am so excited to be showing some of my “Quilty Fun” blocks that I have made so far. I am a bit behind but I am totally enjoying the process.

Apples

The apples are so cute and I was happy to use some of the great fabric Lori Holt generously gave me during the strawberry pincushion swap! I really love the red with the recipes and the writing (they are my favorite). A granny smith apple for tartness!

Stars

The stars so little and so cute!!

ChubbyChevrons

I think so far these chubby chevrons are my favorite. I went a little scrappy but a little matchy too!!

Courthouse-Steps Courthouse steps!

I gathered them all together to see my progress so far.  Plus, I have the fabric already cut for the baskets, which are next on the list to make.

I will say I was a little intimidated when I first got started, with all the tiny little pieces. I am finding that I don’t usually use small pieces, but it has been so fun to see all these blocks turning out so cute. I love her designs and can’t wait to get all the way caught up.

If you haven’t started one of these little sampler quilts yet, it’s not too late. Just go here to the Fat Quarter Shop and you can see what is next and download the pdf’s to make your own.  First you will need to get a copy of  “Quilty Fun”, also at the Fat Quarter Shop. Lori has filled it with so many great projects and great gift ideas too!!

And…..I will be making some blocks in January to join in the “Quilty Fun Sew Along and  Blog Tour“. Hope you will come back and see them. I will keep sewing to be all caught up by then!!

Have a great day!
