You’re So Sweet

Wow, I really want to thank you all for your kind comments regarding my feelings on comparison and competition. I am always hesitant to write that sort of post because I don’t want it to seem like I’m searching for praise.  Yet, at the same time, I think not sharing a little more about my real feelings and insecurities may leave the impression that I am super woman, which is seriously not the case.

So, I want to thank you all for being encouraging, in all the comments you leave, not just those on my last post!  Though I rarely get to reply, I really appreciate each and every one of them.

And now, I’m off to get some work done before my lovely children wake up, that first morning hour of quiet helps me get through the crazy days {in other words, I love to drink my coffee in peace!}.  I’m working on getting a schedule and getting more organized {more on that tomorrow} so that hopefully my time is more well spent, at the sewing machine and with my children.  I hope your week is off to a good start too!

As a side note, one of my tasks for the week is to figure out and set up the shipping costs for our printed patterns, so grab them with free shipping while you can!

  1. I think that the feeling of having a little peace and quiet to yourself in the morning never leaves you, even when your children are adults!

  2. Good for you. Organization is truly the key to keeping things in order. Especially when it comes to family. I found that by starting to do this when the kiddso where little, by the time they wanted to be in sports or clubs, I had a better handle on it all and that made it all so much more manageable. Good luck and have fun doing it. Be sure to put in fun time for yourself.

  3. We all need to hear some kind words now and then! I need to learn to get up earlier than my kids, too. I think I would definitely benefit from another hour of quiet time in the morning. If only I weren’t so darn tired!

  4. Your little ones are so adorable 🙂 I was looking forward to quiet time this morning, and then my son (2 yrs old) woke up an hour earlier than normal. I hope you were able to have yours 🙂
