Quilted Homemades

A few things I have made been making!!

letter-C

A letter “C” for my sewing room! Just needs binding.

Letter-J

“J” for Jennie! I am going to try to stitch that binding down this afternoon.

baby-bib

I made a quilted bib for baby Lydia using a quilted piece of fabric that was for another project that wasn’t turning out the way I  wanted it to. So, it will become a bib for baby, just add binding and velcro!! This pattern is from Nanacompany.

We are really missing our sweet grandchildren. Plans are in the works for a super trip next month to see all of them. My parents are also traveling here as well. This is a visit I am very much looking forward to.

On baby news, I am going to have another grand baby. The little baby (boy) will be born in May sometime!! So excited for another baby in the family. It is my daughter, Rachel who is having a baby this time. She has sweet Tommy, who is 5, and adorable Chloe, who is 3. What a surprise!!

granny-pillow

Here is my pillow making progress. I quilted this great granny square pillow top that was inspired by Lori Holt’s newest book, “Great Granny Squared“. I had fun stippling it. The giveaway for a copy of her book is still open until April 1st.

pillow-back2

The back, you can see better what it looks like. I usually put white muslin on the backs of my pillows tops for quilting, it makes a nice pillow, I think.

pillow-dresden

I have had this dresden for a while and added borders that are 2 1/2″ wide around all sides. I experimented with quilting on this one. I liked how it turned out. A little take on pebble quilting, at least I think so.

pillow-back

And here is the back of it. Now to finish these projects so that I can start something else.

Hope your day is great!
