Bags for RJR Fabrics for Quilt Market

We had some last minute sewing to do just before Spring Quilt Market. Three bags for me to sew and a new pattern made by Jennie. Wow, we were thrilled to get the opportunity from Demetria from RJR Fabrics as always. These were the three that I made.  Please excuse the photos I took, they are not my best. I think it may have had something to do with being in a bit of a hurry and a little tired too!!

The first is our Louisa bag pattern made out of Faded Splendor designed by Robyn Pandolph. So subtle in colors.

Second is our Claire bag made out of Ink Blossom designed by Sue Marsh. Very much more on the brighter side.

Jane-bag-Malam-Batiks

The last one is our Jane bag made out of Malam Batiks designed by Jinny Beyer. I have never sewn with Batiks before but I really liked the way this fabric felt and sewed. It was fun to make these bags because I don’t often get the chance to sew bags from our patterns in our shop. So if you like, go and have a look in our shop you may see something you would like to sew and summertime is the perfect time for sewing. We are planning some fun things for the next few months, be sure to check back often. I sure enjoyed seeing all of the quilt market photos and loved that Jennie and Lydia were able to be there to represent us. And…….I loved every minute of my time with Silas and Norah too. {Happy Grandma!!}
