Modern Stitching Bee Blocks- {Love}

It is so fun getting such beautiful blocks in the mail from places I can only dream about. I absolutely love it and I love, love these blocks. I thought I would share my happy mail with you!! {I think my son also enjoys seeing what is in the packages too!}

These are the set I received from Diane at Random thoughts do or di , they are just so lovely!! I could spend all day looking at them!! I really love how Diane used the selvage in some of the pieces.

This set is from Katy at The Littlest Thistle. She did a beautiful job and I love them too!!

I do have more blocks that I have already shown, but I thought it would be fun to put these four together and see how the quilt is beginning to take shape. There are so many pretty fabrics in them and I know just how much work went into each one. I am going to cherish this quilt for a long time.

I will have two of the prettiest quilts ever!!

Thanks again Diane and Katy!!

I hope you have a great weekend. I know I am looking forward to it. I have a little yard work, a lot of cleaning up to do and hopefully some sewing and organizing in my “gigantic pile of fabric” I call my sewing room. {That’s the way Silas described my sewing room when he got a glimpse of the room, when the door was accidentally left open. I think he was a bit afraid that he would get lost in there!!} We had so much fun while Jennie and the three little lovelies visited. I know it would be better if they lived closer but it is a lot closer than California. I will be happy with what I have!!

What plans do you have for the weekend? Sewing??

    No sewing plans for this weekend as my mother in law her husband to be and his parents are visiting as there is a vintage vehicle show on in the village. Not my cup of tea but definitely my husbands. Enjoy your weekend.

    Those are so beautiful!

    It’s so hard to have family far away; far away doesn’t have to be super far, just far enough that you can’t go visit whenever you want, right?

    Have a great weekend! We’re going to a family cookout.
