A New Clover & Violet Logo

You may have noticed a little change on our blog, we have a new logo! Our shop has evolved quite a bit from the baby goods shop we opened in 2009, so it seemed about time for a truly new look! So, here’s our original logo, which we used for the first five years:
logooption2Then, as our shop became more widely known, we removed the Westies and added “Bags for Quilters”, you’ve been seeing this header most of this year {our sixth!}:

Clover & Violet LogoI’ll admit, it has been a bit of an adjustment, but I’m really loving it more every day! Here’s the style guide that goes with it {for those who are curious}:

C&V Style guideI’ll be working slowly but steadily to update the blog with the new fonts and look! It’s so fun and exciting to have something fresh and new. Hopefully this is just the beginning of the great stuff we have in store for you over the next several months.

Now, if you have a minute, I’d love to know what kind of blog content, beyond new tutorials {which we have in the works already!} sparks your interest? I participated in a Birthday Club Swap this year, do you want to know more? I’m attending my first quilting retreat in a few weeks, would you like to tag along? How about learning, any topics you’d like covered? Since you’re the reason I’m writing, I’d love to know what you want to read!

  1. Hi! I admit that I loved the little Westies and I miss them but I think your new look is great. Finding out how it goes on a retreat would be fun and I’d love to see what people work on. Anything fabríc or sewing related is probably going to hold my attention! Thank you for asking 🙂

  2. Well done on your new logo! I see you incorporated your favorite colors. Your blog content is cheerful, makes me happy. I enjoy musings on your life with little ones. My 4 are all grown up and I enjoy reminiscing about life with littles. I only remember the good times and have forgotten all the bad times. Enjoy them. Your blog is one of the first I found when I was learning to quilt. You are one of my sentimental favorites. I have limited sewing time and have been concentrating on quilts rather than smaller projects ( there is always a baby being born) so I have not commented on your blog-but I am still reading along and thank you for your dedication. There is always someone just learning to quilt for the first time and your blog is helpful for the newbies needing small projects!
