I didn’t have much success with my Finish-A-Long goals last quarter (only one finish!!), but I am hoping that this time around I get a little more accomplished. I am rolling over my three remaining goals from lat quarter:
My Simple Scrappy Sampler Quilt, 20 blocks down, 60 to go! Maybe not a manageable goal for Q1, but a good time to start on it anyway.
This Plus Quilt for my baby (who’s already tw0!!). The fabric is all cut, and the first 1/3 went together fast, I just got distracted.
Glisten Quilt, from my pattern, for the quilt along. My December plans were derailed by family visiting, and so my Glisten quilt got pushed aside. But I’ve done almost all the hard work, and I need this on my daughter’s bed!
And then I’m adding two new goals (these projects are closer to being finished, so I think that it is much more likely that I actually finish them):
I just recently found this mini quilt. Several years ago someone gifted me this adorable embroidery and I sewed it into this mini. It just needs backing, quilting, and binding. I’m embarrassed to admit I cannot remember where the embroidery came from (if it was from you, please speak up!). I think this will be a great addition to my girls’ wall!
My Garden Steps quilt just needs binding. It has been sitting, finished for two years now, and I just need to complete that final step. I delayed because I wasn’t sure which fabric to use, but have decided on scrappy, so hopefully this one will be easy to complete.
Remember, the linky is open until 11 pm EST, April 16th, and you can link up at the Q2 post here. I hope this quarter I can harness a little bit more motivation! Happy finishing!
