After almost three months of living in New Mexico, I can finally show off my sewing room! Hooray! I know everyone is really here just for the photos (I’m still figuring out how to get my lighting right here), so I’ll just leave it at that, ask questions if you’re looking for any info. (Oh, and one other note, if you like the large block with the square-in-a-squares in the photo above, make sure you sign up for my newsletter! It will be my newest subscriber freebie!)sewing-room-2

sewing-room-6 I hope you’ve enjoyed this little tour! I’m working on some more exciting things now that we’re settled, hopefully getting back to blogging is one of them! If there’s anything you’d like to see, I always value your input as well. Happy sewing!

  1. Looks great! I can’t wait for your return to blogging! Is the fabric on the bookshelves folded using comic boards? Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. What an exciting room – love it! Love how you organized your fabrics on the book shelves – beautiful. Enjoy this new sewing room!

  3. So glad to see you’ve got the new space all set up! Your sewing rooms are always so gorgeous and soothing, and just the way I imagine mine could look….but never quite does! ๐Ÿ™‚ My best friend lives in Albuquerque, and I’ve been out to NM numerous times. It’s a beautiful area, very different from the East Coast where I live. Hopefully you will have a chance to find a lot of the neat things to do out there. I’m hoping to finally get back out there next summer, after a 7 year traveling hiatus (kids). Enjoy your new space and your new home!

  4. Really fresh and happy looking! I especially love your clever washing tape storage!!! I’m a scrapbooker as well as a quilter so it’s a perfect marriage! Going to get my washi out of he drawer and out it on hoops! Brilliant!

  6. I too was a military wife so I feel for you. We moved every 3=5 years. Love your sewing room. I noticed your room was white, do you live on base? You are lucky to have an extra bedroom. Thanks again for the tour.
