Stash Project: Charming Sherbet Pips

My mom and I ordered some charm packs of Sherbet Pips by Aneela Hoey for Moda a while ago. Then, when I decided to make Silas a neck pillow for our travels using the puppy print, my mom decided to make a quilt for him to go with it.

But when she started to lay out the fabric, she realized how much pink was in the fabric line…so, the quilt switched directions a bit…now it’s mine too!

It turned out just darling, and I really love having a quilt made by my mom {and she was so sweet to make it for us!}. It will definitely get a lot of love when we live all the way on the other side of the country. I think quilts are the next best thing to hugs.

And the little boy loves it so much too…it was difficult to even get photos.

  1. I think Aneela’s new fabric line Little Apples will be better for boys. I have 2 boys so there was no Sherbet Pips coming into my stash, although it is very cute. I can’t wait to get some of the new one!

  2. The quilt is almost as adorable as the little boy. The fabrics would be great for my 7 year old granddaughter! Love this blog.
