Happy Monday!

A pillow to dress up my chair.

DSC_0136I think it needs a little crinkly love……like my quilt!! I tried a new way to add binding and used the technique on this pillow and I don’t think I will ever do it any other way, you can see it explained and a tutorial on how to do it here on Lori’s blog. It does such a great job of doing away with the bulk.

Hope you are having a great start to a new week. I plan on finishing up a few more things this week, time permitting! My plans are usually greater than my accomplishments, it always takes me way more time than I think it will!! What about you, is it the same way for you?

  1. WOW! Loving the cushion (as we call it in the UK). I’d really like to re-create this for my new bedroom, would you mind if I copied?

  2. OH I adore that “love” pillow!!! I think I need one to coordinate with my Swoon quilt for my bed. I”m shamelessly going to copy. 🙂

  3. I love it! (No pun intended!) I wanted to make some Valentine pillow covers but I never got around to it.
Yes, things almost always take me longer than anticipated, too.

  4. it’s lovely! It goes so well with the quilt. I always have a list of things to do as long as my arm and it never happens, I mean, it wouldn’t as there aren’t enough hours in the day for what I think I’m going to accomplish!!

  5. This pillow is just beautiful! Yes, my eyes are always bigger than my calendar when it comes to stacking up projects for myself. I think it helps that I’m a multi-tasker — I can manage to run between several projects at once — but maybe that’s just another way of saying that I’m easily distracted! 🙂
