We did a lot of moving around this past month. Jennie, Josiah, Silas and Norah are on their way to their near destination. We kissed them good-bye this morning and they drove away. So sad to see them go but they are ready to get all settled into their new destination.
I took this picture the day after Jennie, Silas, Norah and I landed at the airport and were getting the two little one’s settled in with us for a couple of weeks!
This is Silas at breakfast, he had a big smile this morning!! Eating cereal with raisins, his favorite breakfast (until Opa made waffles).
And here is Norah, she is eating her all-time favorite food, apple apple. She would have lived on this if she could have!!
Opa loved serving ice cream cones for them, he had two weeks off to spend with us, it was wonderful. We had so much fun and will cherish it forever!!
We sure will miss them but I am happy they are all together again. They will be so much closer to us and we are looking forward to the shorter trip in the car to see them.
On another note, my sewing machine has been to the shop to be cleaned and a little repair. It needed a new cutter pin, as the old one kept coming unseated, (it had done that once before while trying to sew, so glad it is ready to be picked up today). Just in time for a few projects. I am also looking forward to making another baby girl quilt!!
Hope you are enjoying your summer, I sure have been. I will be back soon with some sewing pictures!! Thank you for letting me share my family fun!!
