Happy Monday and welcome to our blog. We are happy to be included in this fun Sew Along & Blog Tour week 10. Glad you are here!!

Lori’s book is packed full of wonderful instructions and projects to make. I have learned a lot of new techniques while sewing along. My blocks that I am excited to show you are the 4-patches. You will find the pdf download here. I wasn’t sure about making such small blocks , but once I got cutting and sewing them they were very easy to make. I got to take a break from sewing patches for quilts this weekend when my granddaughter asked me to sew on some patches for jackets her cheerleading squad had made. It was a nice break from my normal projects and it made me feel great that I was the first one she thought of.

I really enjoyed using so many different fabrics in these blocks. I took out my scrap bins and just started cutting away. I love the scrappiness of them!!

I am excited to see these little 4- patches in the quilt with all of my other blocks I have made. It has been fun to follow along on the other blogs to see what they have been making. Last week  was Kerri from Lovely Little Handmades. Her blocks are the Quarter Square Triangles, they are so cute!!

The little Alphabitties by Sew Emma are the perfect size to help mark and label your blocks to keep track of them. I think they would make sweet little gifts for swaps and quilters too.

The Fat Quarter Shop is having a wonderful giveaway along with this tour. For the giveaway this week they are giving away 1 package of Alphabitties by Sew Emma and 2 Happy Colors Small Aurifil Thread Boxes by Lori Holt.

To enter, all you need to do is add your 4-patches  to the Quilty Fun Sew Along Flickr group. The winners will be chosen and announced on the Jolly Jabber Blog on the 27th of January. Hope you win!!

Keep sewing!!
