I really want to thank everyone who voiced their opinion about blogging vs. Instagram! Honestly, comments have been low over the last several months, so it seemed like not very many people were interested in reading. While I don’t want to be begging for comments, at the same time, it is the best way for me to gauge readership for new blog posts. So, if something is particularly interesting to you, or a certain type of post is your favorite, the best way to let me know is to leave a comment. I put my time where the interaction is, and I’d love for there to be more here.
Anyway, back to the projects! Because, I know that’s what you’re here for. Above you can see the new pouch pattern I’m working on, the Hazel pouch trio. I’m really excited about Bonnie & Camille’s new line of fabric, Hello Darling. It reminds me a lot of Ruby, one of their older lines and I sewed with a lot! These pouches are a little different than some of the others I made before, so I am excited to show some new techniques. Now I just need to find the time to write out the pattern!
I’ve also been working on a new embroidery pattern lately too, my friend Jenny sent me this quote on a postcard and I love it! I thought it would be perfect to hang in my girl’s room, so they’ll be encouraged as they get older too!
I’ve also been stitching up a new version of my Garden Bicycle Embroidery, which I finally added to the shop. I stitched this up a couple years ago, and have updated pattern covers, so I’m needing a new one for it! If you’re looking for embroidery info, check out my Embroidery 101 tutorials from a few years ago too.
I have some other projects I’ve been working on, are work in progress posts something that interests you? Or would you rather just see finishes?
