I realized recently that I never shared this new quilt pattern, Delightful, on the blog! As the holidays approach, I wanted to take a few minutes to share it here but with a good cause. My sweet friend Tricia lost her husband this summer. And I was thinking that it would be great to do a little something for her and her three littles (5-year-old twins and a 3-year-old, the same ages as my little girls) as they face the first holiday season without their dad. So, I’ve reduced the price of the Delightful pattern to $7 through 11-25-17 and will be giving the proceeds to Tricia and her family. If you think this is a quilt you’d ever like to make, now is a great time to get a copy here!
A little more about the quilt, this is a fat quarter friendly project, and has instructions for three sizes: throw, twin, and queen. The blocks are generously sized so that they can show off some larger prints. And they add up to a whole quilt pretty quickly too!
These photos are from the quilt that my mom made, didn’t it turn out cute! I love how it really shows off the prints in the fabrics. She used Vintage Picnic by Bonnie & Camille for Moda and it was quilted by Donna of Donna’s Lavender Nest.
