The Carly Pouch Pattern Release

I’m excited to finally release my very first C&V Sewing Club exclusive pattern to the public, the Carly pouch pattern is released and in the shop and now comes in two sizes. It features a fun, curved top and an inside pocket. And it’s just the perfect mix of scrappy and linen too.

Sticking to what I love

If you know me very well, or even if you’re new here, you probably have noticed I really love using the same colors for most of my projects. This was something I used to think was a drawback. I thought maybe I wasn’t adventurous enough. But, every time I made something I really loved, someone would comment, “I knew that was yours” on the photo. Instead of being disappointed, I was glad they were recognizing my work. So now I’ve embraced making what I love.

Finding my scrappy style

When I finally realized that other people enjoyed me sticking to my fabric styles just as much as I did, I embraced it. Now when I’m making something I try to find ways to add my favorite fabrics. I did just that with the Carly pouch. And I knew when I shared the Carly pouch pattern release it would be something that would be easily recognized as mine.

Not just the same old pouch, adding the curved top

Even though I’ve used my same old fabric combinations, I’ve been wanting to release a pattern with a curved top for a very long time. And now I finally have it ready for you. Just enough curve to make it look special. But it’s still easy to construct. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
