My Favorite Things Fabric Tour

A few days ago a friend of mine sent me a photo of the latest Elea Lutz fabric and said, “this reminds me of you.” She had no idea I was already working on the projects for the My Favorite Things Fabric Tour! I’ve been anxiously waiting to get my hands on this darling fabric and share my makes with you.

My Favorite Things Projects

I made three projects with the My Favorite Things fabrics. First, I made a Crossbody Pouch that was designed by the lovely Karen of Cream Craft Goods (you can find her Instagram here too!). The Crossbody Pouch is perfect for carrying with a larger bag so you can easily grab your necessities.

I loved this clever design and I cannot wait to use this pouch when I travel. That is, if my daughters don’t steal it first, since they were already eyeing the My Favorite Things Fabric when it arrived!

And, I learned something new from Karen that I didn’t know. You can use your phone through the clear vinyl! What?! Yes, that’s right! From what I can tell it isn any vinyl, it still allows your finger to touch the screen. I had no idea!

Sewing Club Exclusive Pattern

The Carly Pouch in My Favorite Things Fabric

I also made both sizes of The Carly Pouch in the My Favorite Things Fabric. The Carly Pouch was just released last Thursday, so you still have a few days to snag it at the special release price (no coupon needed).

The curved top gives The Carly Pouch unique detail, and it can be made with patchwork or plain. I personally love a scrappy patchwork project. But, I decided to make the large version out of a single print so that we could enjoy all the sweet illustrations without them being too broken up.
