Christmas in July Skirt :: Blog Hop & Giveaway

|

July marks the halfway point between one Christmas and the next, which means the Christmas fabric is out! I’m excited to show off some of the cute Christmas fabrics available from Windham this year! I chose the cute line of Santa’s Little Helpers, my girls especially loved this line when I was looking through the choices!

How cute is this? There is a white version of the main print as well as a green version of trees, but they’re missing from this photo because I had already cut them into the cutest little girl skirt:

How sweet is this? I thought I had elastic, but I was out, so I’ll post an update after my trip to the fabric shop today. I used the Purl Soho Gathered Skirt for All Ages as a base for this skirt, but with modifications (no pockets and two fabrics).

I think this is going to be so fun to wear during the holidays! Of course, little sister will be needing one too, so I picked these prints for hers:

It’s a little funny sewing for Christmas in July, but it is probably the only way I’ll get stuff ready for the holidays! I am always wanting to make my girls more clothes, so this is super exciting for me!
